The Bloomington tavern Lennie’s is changing hands after 34 years.

Founders Lennie Busch and Jeff Mease sold the establishment to long-time employees Michael Fox and Samantha Ezzo earlier this month.

Bloomington Brewing Co.'s New Owners Have Plans to Expand Production

Bloomington Brewing Co., founded in 1994, has new owners as of Wednesday afternoon.

After the closing of the sale was complete, new owners Amanda and Jarrod Franklin and the founders and former owners, Jeff Mease and Lennie Busch, met at the westside Bloomington Brewing Co. production facility for a celebratory toast with Kirkwood Cream Ale.

Mease, along with Helen “Lennie” Busch, BS’82, leads One World Enterprises—a Bloomington, Ind.-based consortium that includes Pizza X, Lennie’s, Bloomington Brewing Company, One World Catering, and Hive. Together, they’ve slain pandemic-induced fears with family meals.
